So, I have had it pretty "easy" I guess during my PhD in the States. I lived on my parents' property, independently, got to pay little rent, had all of the amenities I wanted, was independent, and lived life as fully as a minimalist would. Now I'm leaving to Germany. I am not sure how much rent will be. I have no idea what to expect when considering work. I am a bit lost, but too lost. I figure if I plan correctly things will go well, but in the meantime I have to start the planning. And I will not lie; I barely know where to start!
I have found myself, though, preparing for things, barely noticing but moving forward and towards the end-goal. And so, this may be not too difficult in the end. Anyone studied in Germany? Lived in Frankfurt or Hamburg? I am not sure which city I will be in, but one will be called my "new home." Well, Leah (my Shih Tzu) and my new home.
